I would like to clarify some details from my post yesterday. I am staying at Eric's friends house where I stay in the guest bedroom and Eric stays on the couch. I had slept through my alarm, so after getting COMPLETELY ready himself, he came in and woke me up so I could get ready.
It was brought to my attention that these details weren't clear in yesterdays post. Hope this helps :D
Today ended up being awesome. Dinner with my aunt and uncle was great then Eric and I spent the rest of the evening together. Tomorrow is his birthday :D I'm excited to spend it with him!

Feeling like home
The more time I spend here in Dallas, the more its starting to feel like home. Other than driving, I'm feeling comfortable with everyone and everything! I know that I'm going to miss my family and my friends but thats what facebook is for right :D
Great day so far! Had breakfast and lunch with Eric and once he gets off work, we're going to have dinner with my aunt and uncle!!

Amazing Day
Today truly was amazing. I woke up to my fiance trying to wake because I somehow managed to turn my alarm clock (on my phone) off without actually waking up. Probably TMI, but I also enjoyed waking up to a "clean smell" since Eric hadn't been out of the shower for too long.
Next was church, which was nice. I always enjoy it when I actually get to go to a service, especially with him.
I do have one little issue. Can we just let hymns be hymns?? Maybe it's just from being raised in a southern baptist church, or maybe its just my sincere love for music; regardless of what it is, it tends to really bother me when people try to modernize the "old goodies" aka the hymns like Amazing Grace, Come Thou Fount, and Rock of Ages (I could go on). I totally understand the push to modernize and I have nothing wrong with NEW music, but why can't artists just write NEW music instead of revising perfectly good songs. Okay, enough about that.
After church, I had the most amazing afternoon that I have had since, well, since the last NASCAR race (which starts again next weekend, CAN'T WAIT....GO JR!!!) Yes, I am a huge fan of watching a bunch of guys (and a girl or two) driving around in circles. The wrecks are intense. The competition is passionate. And this girl is one enthusiastic Dale Jr fan (although if he fails me this season, I might have to start cheering for Tony Stewart. Don't judge. To each his own)
After spending some time together just enjoying each other's company, we headed over to Royle and Ashley's, Eric's friends with whom I am staying (at one point can I call them my friends too, when I move here? I'm so confused!) We spent the rest of the day here watching the superbowl, eating yummy food, and enjoying great company!
All in all, it was a fantastic day. And, I have pretty much decided that regardless of what the weather does, I will be staying until at least Wednesday or Thursday. I will probably have class on Tuesday, but my teacher provides enough lecture material online that it won't hurt to miss one class assuming I put the effort into studying to make up for what I missed, and I will because it will be worth it. I just don't want this time to be over yet. I was two days late getting here and Eric has to work so I won't even get anymore full day with him, which is fine, but I don't have to leave so I'm not going to. I love college :D
Looking forward, tomorrow holds breakfast with my almost hubby (18 weeks and 5 days!), lunch with my aunt, maybe some shopping, or at least browsing, and then dinner and hopefully some house shopping in the evening.
This place is starting to grow on me <3

Finally made it!!!!
Well, my patience lasted just long enough for me to make it here. and let me say, it was worth the wait! I sure do love this man <3 I haven't been able to let go of his hand tonight. I've just missed him so much! Only 18 weeks and 6 days until the wedding....and oh so much to do. Thankfully, we've got two weekends to get a good chunk of the to-do list done. This weekend, we've already made our list for what we want to register for and where, chosen a photographer, and talked about cakes. Before I leave, we're going to go check out tuxes and hopefully see a house or two :D Then next weekend, we're going to register (unless we have time this weekend, have our first counseling session (i think), confirm our choice of invitations, and find somewhere to have the rehearsal dinner. Busy times but glad that we have some time with no planning as well :) I've got stuff planned for next weekend to celebrate both Dad's and Eric's birthday of which I can't speak of here until after the fact :)

Debriefing the parents
Per suggestion of a great friend and fellow blogger, I am going to write a response to this article through the eyes of a babysitter :)
-Your kids were great for me (90% of the time this means your kids were as good for me as they are for you, 5% the kids were awful but either I made a deal with the kids to go to bed and I wouldn't tell you how bad they were OR I don't want to look like a bad babysitter so I'm going to tell you they were good even though they didn't listen to me at all, and the other 5% of the time, it means your children were perfect angels but if I told you that, you wouldn't believe me so I'll just tell you they did great.)
-The kids went to bed just fine (fine is such a funny word. usually this means that I made an honest attempt to get the kids to bed on time but that cute pouty face that wanted to read "just one more book" five or six times, and all the "I need....(a drink, to potty, a hug, a light [on or off], a blanket, a stuffed animal, to be tucked in [again], to know when mommy and daddy will be home, to tell mommy and daddy something so I can't go to sleep until then [therefore, I'm going to keep bring to back in here with requests so I can fight off sleep], oh and how i could forget- i need to brush my teeth [again]). So really, the kids might have been IN bed when you asked, but they more likely weren't asleep for at least an hour.
-Everything is in order (yes, i'm a cruel babysitter that makes the children clean up after themselves. Okay, so that's only kind of true. once I lose track of what time it is because we were too busy watching a movie [yeah, about that no tv thing....they begged, and I gave in. but we didn't watch it the whole time, I promise], i ask the kids to pick up their mess quickly as i'm also trying to get everyone ready for bed AKA I do most of the cleaning once I get them into bed. (usually) the dishes are clean, or at least put in the dishwasher. we ate all the food, so no need to worry about where the leftovers went)
So this is all i've come up with for now. I might add on to this later if I come up with more. I do believe I'm going to have a hard time finding a babysitter for my children because I will have very high expectations :)
Please comment on this, especially if I've ever babysat for you :D

My formal apology
Okay, so I've had the realization that I've been whining a lot these last few days, especially on facebook and to my family and close friends. To those who have put up with me, I would like to apologize. I can't stand people that whine and am ashamed that I have been whining so much.
With that said, I must make the statement that I miss Eric so much that it physically hurts. There has never been a time that I have doubted my love for him but if there ever was or is, I have this week to assure me that the love is there and its deep! This has brought a smile to my face :)
In other news, its snowing...again. I plan to enjoy it today and watch it melt tomorrow as I drive to Texas!
I suppose that is all I have to say for now.

Stupid snow
um, snow is stupid. and we got a lot of it. i've been sad all day. its looking as though eric might not be able to come this weekend because of the stupid, stupid, stupid snow.
